[Purpose of this job]

The scene to be drawn is of two girls in a school dorm room, having a wholesome and affectionate hug. The shorter girl is wearing a very neat, formal type suit, with a cleanly pressed black shirt and golden tie. She is short in stature and has long, flowing (but messy) white hair. Her body is petite and small (think about 4’11 in height), her skin pale white, but her young body still toned. As she hugs the other girl, she has a joyous blush on her face, so much so that the tie is swaying from the momentum of the hug. The other girl she is hugging is taller, with a stronger build. She has a surprised, but kind look on her face - a gentle expression with more olive skin and green, detailed eyes. Her hair is a sunlight orange, which shimmers past her shoulders. She is wearing a “cat-themed” hoodie, with ears on the hood and the hood up over her orange hair. Her arms are spread in mild surprise as the other girl hugs and wraps her around her, but she stares lovingly.

Key Elements of the Room:

The theme of the room is barebones. It is the room of the younger girl “Kanon” who is doing the hug, and a main theme to her character is that she thinks more about others than she does about herself. As a result the room is rather empty. There is a large light green shag carpet in the back, a pink bed with a cat pillow on it, and an ice sculpture (made by the other girl “Taiya”) which is in the form “chibi Kanon” holding a small cat. This statue has a necklace with an orange crystal on it - used to call Taiya in times of need. It is very important to include this necklace in the background. An important note as well is the small desk for her to do her drawings at. It has a small picture of the sunrise on it, which is the first drawing “Kanon” ever drew. Next to this desk is a large window which shows a good deal of sunlight as well as swaying trees outside the dorm room. In front of both girls is a desk with a few study books, an open gift box, and a picture frame. The desk itself is made of fine wood and shimmers in the sunlight.

Key Emotions to Be Expressed:

The girls have a very affectionate and loving relationship with each other. They are not just romantic, but also they feel like family to one another, so their expressions are warm and loving. They protect one another and treasure one another - and though the smaller girl is the more “energetic” and “expressive” of the two, they both showcase this love in different ways. In the picture it is important to have their love for one another come across in a wholesome and pure, meaningful way, the focus and lighting of the room showcasing their hug and embrace as one of their highest forms of expressing love for one another.
