Holding a Contest enables you to receive many artworks from Creators and select an artwork(s) to buy.
- 1. Post your requestInput specifications of artwork, prize, and number of artworks you are going to adopt.
- 2. Send your contest info to CreatorsWe check your request and notify Creators who has related skill with your contest.
- 3. Select a artwork(s) to buyCompare submitted artworks and select an artwork(s)
When you want to make an offer after actually checking artworks.
It's good when you feel that [I may not be able to receive what exactly I want.]. On Contest, you can select which artwork you adopt after you check many artworks which is made by Creators exclusively for you. You don't need to pay anything if you liked no artwork, when you don't guarantee to paying the prize. (When you guarantee prize, quality and amount of artwork will be expectedly raise up.)
When you want to source many artworks in short term.
The Contest is useful for sourcing many illustrations of same theme such as game items or icons. For example, you can require rough illustrations on the Contest and adopt only artworks you liked and make an offer to them.
When you want to have a brand new idea.
Each Creators on Skillots has different skills and experiences. If you don't specify too much details on your Contest, Creators will surprize you with their various idea and expressions.

When do I get notified by Email?
During the Contest is ongoing, you will be notified when following events occurred;

-When the Creator apply an Artwork
-When the Creator post a message to the Contact Board.
-When the Creator post a message to the Forum.

Can I contact Creators while opening contest?
Yes, you can contact each Creator from Contact Board on each Artwork details.
When you want to notify all applicants, use Forum to post messages. -
I set the Copyright Term as 'Transfer copyright to the Client'. Is that term apply to all submitted Artworks?
No, the copyright of each submitted Artworks belong to its author, the Client cannot use it for any purpose other than reviewing.
Also, even after you decide prized artwork, Terms of copyright is applied only to the work(s) which is defined as deliverable. Other works or data, such as rough design, are not covered by the terms unless otherwise agreed. -
Can I cancel the Contest?
You cannot cancel the Contest before the application deadline.
If the contest does not guarantee prize, you can reject all Artworks and cancel it. -
I don't get suitable Artwork for my Contest.
When your request is not clear, or when Creators need to do a lot of work to apply to the Contest, the number of participant might be small.
In order to atteract more Creators, you may need to edit your request and announce the Contest again. -
When do I pay for the Contest?

You need to pay BEFORE the contest become open.
[No Prize Guaranteed Contest]
After you adopt an Artwork(s), please make the payment before the Creator deliver.
You can pay by Credit Card, Bnak Transfer, or Monthly Billing. -
What's Monthly Billing?
Normally, you have to pay the fee before the Creator deliver. However, we also accept Monthly Billing for following clients;
-The Client is hard to get approval from accountant for payment in advance.
-When the Client use multiple Creators for one project, and want to pay at once.
-The Client use Skillots regularly, or many times in a month.
If you choose Monthly Billing, we will send bills at the end of month after the Project completed.
The due date for payment will be the end of next month.
Following Clients can NOT use Monthly Billing; Individuals, sole proprietorships, and companies which are less than 1 year after its foundation.
And we might not be able to apply Monthly Billing for other reasons. -
Is that possible to get invoice, bill, or receipt?
Yes, we can send you documents on your request. Please tell us following information; [Project title][Type of document you need][Name of person in charge to be addressed on the document]

Can I ask revision of adopted Artwork?
After you adopt the Artwork, you and the Creator will have meetings in the Project Room and the Creator will deliver the Artwork data in the format you specify. You can ask revision at that time if you need.

Does it cost any additional charge if I ask revision?
Frequency of revision is limited depends on the category of the Project.
When the Creator recognize to revise one time, he/she will apply for count up revision number of times, and when the Client approve counting up, the number of revision times will be actually count up. After the number of revision times exceed the limited number, specific additional fee will be charged on each revision.

-Initially envisioned work, such as revision on rough sketch, will not be counted as a number of revision.(except when the Client change their request.)
-[The revision] should be making change on minor part of the work. If the Client ask for major change, the Creator shall charge additional fee.
-One time of revision order can contain multiple changes.

Can I see the Contest page after the Contest completed?
You can see Artworks and other information even after the Contest is closed.
